The bags I have.

I’m a huge bag lover, especially designer ones &I believe you can never have too many.. The more, the better! In this blog, I'll be sharing my thoughts on the different bags I own, from styles, durability + practicality to what makes each one special.

I will be adding more bags once I take pictures of them.

Dior Mini Bag

First I will talk about the inspiration behinds the designs pattern. The cannage pattern origins are related to the rattan weaving on the Napoleon III-style chairs on which founder Christian Dior seated guests at his salon on Avenue Montaigne.

I’ll start with the newest addition to my collection: the My Dior Mini bag in black lambskin. While lambskin can make me a little nervous because of its delicate nature, we can all agree that it reflects elegance, & that timeless "expensive" look. The bag is designed with two sections, a card pocket, & the most stunning champagne gold chain + the pearls on the chain! I'm absolutely in love.

What drew me to this bag was its perfect size & versatile design. It’s a go-to for special occasions like weddings, but it's also the ideal for more casual looks, like a jeans & date-nights. Truly, it elevates any occasion!

Zadig & Voltaire Rock Clutch

I’m a big fan of this brand & love their clothing too. When I lived in Paris, I noticed almost every girl had one of their bags. I own three, but the one in the picture is the most unique because it’s made with colorful knit.

Its design stands out, with a small back zip pocket & an inside patch pocket. It also comes with two removable straps, a short one & a longer one. Even when I wear the shorter strap, I like to keep the longer one on just in case. While I’m generally not a fan of thinner straps, I don’t mind this one!

Kurt Geiger

During my pre-COVID trip to London, UK, I discovered this British brand & ended up buying several bags + heels. Honestly, the heels from this brand are super comfortable, even the taller ones.

The bag in the picture is my favorite. Made with real leather, it comes with two straps, a longer one for practicality & a shorter one that enhances its design, which I keep on even when using the longer strap. Inside, it’s divided into two sections with card pockets.

I absolutely love this bag. Its design, the quality of the leather + how well it holds up over time.

Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM

MM (moyen modéle) as in medium size. It comes in 4 sizes.

In my opinion, everyone should have this bag. It’s the perfect blend of timeless style & a cute, practical design. It holds more than it seems & truly lives up to its name. I take it everywhere, whether it’s for work, school, travel, or whenever I need to take my laptop.

While many other brands have similar designs, the Louis Vuitton Neverfull is experiencing a major comeback due to its timeless aesthetic as the brand has developed a new selling/marketing strategy towards it, the aim is to make it more exclusive.

Dior’s Saddle Pouch with Chain

The blue Dior Oblique jacquard pairs perfectly with any jean outfit, adding a cool, effortless vibe to even the simplest looks.

Despite being made from fabric instead of leather, I never worry about taking it anywhere. It’s surprisingly durable + doesn’t get dirty easily, making it both stylish & practical for everyday wear.

Chanel 11.12 (aka classic flap bag)

The Chanel Classic Flap Bag has become increasingly difficult to get/find, as the brand has adopted a more exclusive + expensive approach, similar to Hermès' strategy. This shift aims to position the bag as a valuable investment, leading to significant price increases & affecting the second-hand market. For instance, as of March 2024, the medium Classic Flap bag starts at $10,800, reflecting a 120% rise since 2016.

I purchased mine from a second-hand boutique in Paris's 18th district. While I appreciate its design, I find it doesn't hold as much as its size suggests. Nonetheless, I still like it and wouldn't say no to a hot pink version.

Dior’s Diorama Bag

I'm a little heartbroken that it's discontinued, which caused it to fall out of fashion trends. It came in so many sizes, colors, & shapes; something I really loved. The design is simple yet unique, but the downside is the larger chains that make it feel heavier & bulkier to carry, as this is the reason why I don’t take it when traveling.

Lady Dior Mini Bag

This is my #1 bag, though the only thing I don’t love about it is the chain. Otherwise, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The design leans more on the classic side, but if you dare to pair it with streetwear or funky styles, it won’t disappoint.

I went with the silver hardware since I didn’t have many bags in silver, but Dior’s champagne gold hardware is can match both colors. Just like the mini Dior, you can wear this bag literally anywhere!

Balenciaga’s Le City Mini Bag

I personally find this bag edgy & beautiful, though some may feel it doesn’t quite give off luxury or style vibes. I love the color blend, as it’s perfect for casual outings. However, because of its small size, it only fits a few really small items, I find it hard to wear as often as I’d like.
