Evviva Breakfast & Lunch

This charming & aesthetic restaurant is located downtown Toronto on Bay Street, open from 7 AM - 5 PM. Upon entering, we were immediately impressed by how clean the space was, & the aroma was delightful. We went for outdoor seating, especially since winter is just around the corner.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the service. The staff was quite rude, & by the end of our brunch, our server didn’t even check in to see if we needed anything or to offer the bill.

As for the food, the portion sizes felt noticeably smaller, where both the salad and the eggs were poorly prepared. While the prices were reasonable, I don’t think I would return after this experience.

What we ordered:

Florentine Eggs Benedict

As you can see that the portions are cut in half, there’s barely any salad or potatoes/fries. The hollandaise sauce is a bit thicker than what is supposed to be & the poached eggs were a little overcooked (we asked for medium).

I wouldn’t bother rating it. It was bad.

French Toast

The portion size was good. However, it was tasteless. It actually didn’t have any flavour as it was dry. We had to add maple syrup or honey, still didn’t work.
