SUNSCREEN ☀️
Let’s start with the most important product ➡️sunscreen. Even if you don’t have a full skincare routine, sunscreen is a must. I was introduced to Shiseido’s sunscreen, a fantastic brand from Tokyo, & now I can’t go a day without it.
It’s super easy to apply, has no smell, goes on transparent, & can even be used over makeup if needed.

Vitamin E Oil
I use vitamin E capsules by breaking them open to extract the oil. I typically apply it in the morning when I wake up, although many people recommend applying it at night or 20 minutes before bed. Personally, I avoid using it at night because it's quite heavy & doesn't fully absorb within that short time. I make sure that am not leaving the house when applying it, because of its thickness, it won’t allow the absorption of other skin care products. + if your skin is prone to acne, make sure you only apply it once or twice a week.
What I’ve noticed is that using it regularly has helped even out my skin tone + gives my face a fuller, more radiant appearance.

Cosrx - Snail Mucin
This Korean skincare brand, launched in 2013, became viral when achieving "mirror skin" became a trend, thanks to its snail mucin products.
The serum, with its water-based formula, is great for oily skin but lacks the moisture some may need. On the other hand, the cream is definitely more hydrating, but I found it to be quite sticky, so I wouldn’t recommend using it before applying makeup even though I found professional makeup artists doing that.
Prickly Pear Oil
After hearing so many great things about prickly pear oil, I decided to add it to my skincare routine. This oil is packed with anti-aging benefits thanks to its high amino acid content, which helps stimulate collagen production and promotes faster cellular turnover.
It’s incredibly moisturizing, supports the skin barrier, & can even help reduce acne—just to name a few of its benefits.
I bought mine from Healthy Planet, & what I love most is that despite being an oil, it’s surprisingly lightweight and absorbs easily into the skin without feeling greasy.

These products are formulated with hyaluronic acid. Although Dior’s website doesn’t specify all the ingredients, the scent is quite noticeable, which wasn’t appealing to many. However, after using them for a while, I found that my skin stayed moisturized, healthy, + radiant.
