Sugo

Checked out Sugo on Bloor St. for lunch after braving an hour long wait! The food was decent, but honestly, not worth the hype nor the wait. The area around the restaurant isn’t the most exciting either & after some exploring, we couldn’t find any interesting stores to browse.

A heads-up: they don’t serve pizza as their pasta options are pretty limited. While it was good to finally try it, I wouldn’t go back unless a friend really wants to.

$40-$60 per person.

Menu posted below.

what we ordered:

  • Calamari 7/10

  • Burrata + pizza dough: this was perfff tomatoes, olive oil, garlic & onions

  • Rigatoni: yum, but something’s missing

  • Chicken cutlet: breaded chicken breast, not dry which is good. tomato sauce + melted mozzarella. not enough by itself.

  • Tiramisu: creamy but the ladyfingers weren’t soaked in coffee...
